Cricket devoted Satya Nadella will get a base yearly income of $1.2 million as new chief executive of Microsoft, but his complete package afterward taking into account stock awards and bonus may attain $18 million (Rs 112 crore) a year as well several other perks.

Going by the news, Nadella taken a cash bonus of $1.6 million last year.

Microsoft's fiscal year innings from 1 july- June 30.

"We suppose that you will occuption with the Compensation Group of the Board to measure and revise, if suitable, the Executive Incentive Program to confirm alignment with business importance. There are presently two key modules of the Executive Incentive Program," the letter said.

To additional align Nadella's happiness with the long-duration performance of Microsoft, he would be approved LTPSAs (Long-Term Performance Stock Awards). The letter said "one third of your Long-Term Performance Stock Awards will be getting based on Microsoft's entire shareholder return relative to the S&P 500 over each of 3 overlapping, 5 year performance times (LTPSA performance periods) beginning on the grant date and the first and next anniversaries thereof,.

Nadella formerly held several senior places at Microsoft in the server and tools, online services, cloud & enterprise, and promotion platform divisions.

The package may be seen as too much by some, but it’s in line with the technical business’s gilded standards. Google chief executive Larry Page and formation partner Sergey Brin have covered their yearly salaries at $1 every year, but their stock in the corporation is worth billions. Facebook chief executive Mark has also capped his pay at $1 per year, with the popularity of his compensation coming in the form of justice.
