Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is an American computer programmer & an Internet business person. He is best recognized as founders of the social networking website Facebook. Zuckerberg is the chairman & chief executive of Facebook, Inc. His private wealth, as of July 2015, is projected to be $38.6 billion. In 2007, at the time of 23, Zuckerberg became a billionaire as an outcome of Facebook's achievement. Since 2010, Time journal has named Zuckerberg between the 100 richest and most influential persons in the world as a part of its Person of the Year division.

Born into a well-educated household in New York, Zuckerberg made an interest in computers in an initial stage. He created his personal messaging program at the stage of 12, dubbed "Zucknet," which his dad used in his dental workplace. He would make games & programs under a private computer trainer, who later told journalists that it was tough to stay ahead of the expertise prodigy. While still in high school, businesses like AOL & Microsoft expressed interest in purchasing his software and signing him, which he declined.

Later joining at Harvard University, Zuckerberg developed a status as a strong programmer & software developer. He made programs like Course Match, which assisted students choose their classes based on the collections of their peers, & Facemash, which compared images of two students and allowable users to vote on who was smarter. While popular, none of these programs matched to the latter achievement of Zuckerberg's growth of Facebook.

Approached by Divya Narendra, & Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Zuckerberg start working on an assignment called The Harvard Connection, a sort of dating site for the Harvard choice. Zuckerberg has later fallen out and start working on his personal site with associates Chris Hughes, Dustin, & Eduardo Saverin. This site, which taking place as thefacebook.com, allowed users to make their own profiles, upload pictures, and network with users at precise universities. Run out of a dormitory room at Harvard till June 2004, thefacebook.com thrived, & Zuckerberg has fallen out to pursue it full time. By the end of 2004, Facebook bragged 1 million users.
