Pasta and chicken recipes

The recipe for pasta and chicken is a total package of easy to make, healthy, cheesy and full of carbohydrates. You will love the dish as you get a delicious dish with little efforts put in by you. The dish would of a great presentation before all your guests, as it is flavorful and colorful.

Ingredients required

  • 2 whole Skinless, Boneless, Chicken Breasts made to Small bite bits
  • 1 lb Rigatoni or Penne
  • 1 whole Large Red Onion, diced finely
  • 2 cloves Garlic, finely minced
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Shavings, some more for serving
  • 25 Oz of Marinara Sauce
  • 8 Oz of Fresh Mozzarella, Cut Into Medium Cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (or to your taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Minced Fresh Parsley
  • 10 whole Basil Leaves
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1/2 cup of Water

    Preparation Method

    Cook pasta according to the directions available in the carton. After heating the Olive oil over medium heat in a skillet, add chicken pieces in a proper layer, sprinkle pepper and salt and without stirring cook for about two minutes. Stir the chicken to become Golden brown in color on all sides and then remove to a plate. Use the same skillet over medium heat, add onions and garlic, and stir occasionally for about 2 minutes until the chopped onion become deep golden in color. Reducing the heat, pour the marinara sauce, red pepper flakes, add water, and stir. After that add the chicken and parsley and continue to stir and let it simmer for about 7 minutes. The sauce in the skillet should become hot and bubbly, add the mozzarella slowly, and cook for another two minutes until the mozzarella mellows down.

    The mozzarella should become soft but should still be in visible chunks rather than distributed throughout the sauce. It will be good if the chunks are on the firm side than the other side. In case you want to increase the consistency of the cheese, heat a little more. Remove the pasta and place it in a platter. Olive oil should be drizzled and then sprinkle the grated Parmesan. Pour on the sauce, sprinkle the left over Parmesan and the Basil, and serve the dish.
