One pot chicken recipes

A chicken home cooked for dinner is the best food you can offer your family and cooking a one-pot chicken requires only a very little effort.   • Six celery sticks
  • Two thyme sprigs
  • Two bay leaves
  • Handful of parsley, chopped

    Preparation method

    Use a bigger pot to keep the chicken and add halve of an onion, carrot and one celery stick. Also, add peppercorns, herbs and sprinkle of salt. Then add little water in order to submerge half of chicken. Now bring to boil and gently cover it and try to simmer it for about an hour and a half. Take the chicken, put it in a dish, and pour down all stock in a bowl. Strip off the bones from chicken and slice them to pieces. Cut the carrots and celery into slices that are very thick and chop the remaining onion. In a pot, heat the butter and add little onion, lardoons, and brown to fry for about five minutes. Add the other vegetables and fry for an additional two minutes. Now, stir the awesome flour and cook for a minute. Add 900 ml of stock stir and cover for about 20 minutes until all vegetables turn tender. Put back the cooked chicken into a pan. It should go with mustard and cream to simmer and gently stir, season fir finally put some parsley.

    For freezing the dish, let it cool and then pack into an airtight container and you should keep it in the Freezer for up to a month. When you want to use, defrost overnight and then gently reheat and then bring to boil and serve.
