Mushroom chicken recipe

This is an easy to make chicken recipe using the combination of mushroom with tender chicken. Ingredients required

  • Four skinless, Boneless chicken breast halves
  • (Before the chicken is cooked, to catch any leaks, refrigerate raw chicken in a rimmed baking sheet)
  • 3 cups of mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Seasoned bread crumbs 1 cup
  • 6 OZ of sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup Chicken broth

    Preparation

    Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

    Break two eggs in a small bowl and dip the chicken in it and then roll them in breadcrumbs and keep aside. In a medium sized skillet, place the two tablespoons of butter and melt over medium heat. Place chicken in the skillet, brown both the sides of chicken, and cook. Place half of the mushrooms on the chicken and half below the chicken and top it with the mozzarella cheese. Add chicken broth evenly to the pan and bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until the pink color of the chicken is not seen. Your mushroom chicken dipped in sauce is ready to be served.
