Chicken Patty Recipe

Crispy Chicken patties are the easiest recipes one can do at the comfort of their home in about 10 to 15 minutes time. The total time to cook a chicken patty recipe varies from 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending upon the speed of cooking it. This dish will yield about four to five servings.

Ingredients List

  • Olive oil of about 2 ounces
  • Half of diced red onion
  • Black olives should be diced properly - 4 table spoons

  • Parsley leaves (minced and fresh) - one table spoon
  • Flakes of red chilli - half teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds well grounded - half teaspoon
  • Salt of celery - half teaspoon
  • Ground sage - 1/4teaspoon
  • Bread crumbs that are nicely seasoned - 2 tablespoons
  • One nice egg and ketchup, tomato and lettuce
  • Sesame buns that are nicely toasted and mustard

    Preparation Method

    Take a saute pan that is medium in size and add about one ounce of oil. To this now, add all the vegetables that are raw and thoroughly saute it until it becomes translucent. Now remove it and let it cool. After this, add all the veggies to the raw chicken. Mix it well and add dry ingredients along with the egg. Mix this well and make it into patties that forms four superb patties. Cover them all and keep in the refrigerator for about thirty minutes. Now in the same pan keep adding the remaining olive oil that is 1 ounce and gently cook the patties for about two to three minutes each side. Once they are golden brown, take it and wrap in a paper to remove the oil and serve hot with the ketchup along with mustard on the sesame buns that are toasted along with tomato and lettuce.

    General Tips

    You can also use egg yolk along with little milk for brushing the patties well. Try to use boneless chicken. After brushing the top of the patties with egg yolk, you have to bake the patties in an oven that is heated up to 425 F and keep it for about fifteen to twenty minutes. If possible, use refined flour and oil for cooking, as it tastes well. This chicken patty recipe is a fantastic way to consume your chicken that is leftover.
