Best chicken recipe

This recipe is all about cooking the chicken without oil or butter. After reading this recipe, you will be preparing the chicken drumsticks marinated with ginger- garlic and cook in milk, Chilies, saffron, cream and spice mix.   • For the marinade
  • 5 chicken drumsticks

  • 3 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • coriander leaves chopped, 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dry ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp of methi
  • 2 teaspoons of spice mix
  • Saffron
  • 2 teaspoons of chopped almonds
  • Salt, to taste
  • Preparation method

    For marinating

    Make small cuts in the drum sticks of chicken and marinate with ginger, garlic paste and white pepper and leave it aside for about thirty minutes.For the spice mix Dry roast the spice mix ingredients without charring them and grind them in a mortar or using a mixie. Keep it aside in a glass bowl handy to use.

    For the Gravy

    Heat a pan and add cream, green chilies and onions, and cook until the onions are soft. Add the milk and the marinated chicken and mix well. Add green dry ginger powder, cardamom powder, chopped ginger, white pepper powder, coriander leaves, spice mix, methi, and a pinch of saffron and allow it to simmer. Saute well and cook for about 10 minutes. Add required amount of salt and mix well. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve hot.
