Baked chicken recipes easy

This recipe is all about making baked chicken, made easy for you. This dish takes about fifteen minutes for preparation and forty-five minutes for cooking. In about an hours time you can make the dish and treat your family. The recipe when made is good for making six servings.

Ingredients required

  • Chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless six pieces
  • Saltine crackers crushed, 2 cups
  • Margarine melted ½ cup
  • Garlic powder to taste or a pinch
  • Seasoned salt 1 teaspoon
  • Preparation method

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

    Grease a baking dish.

    Place the chicken breasts in a large zip lock bag, and lightly pound them with a meat mallet to tenderize the chicken breasts and makes them all evenly thick, which helps for even cooking and making the chicken tender. Use a shallow bowl to mix the cracker crumbs, garlic powder and seasoned salt. The chicken breasts are to be dipped in melted margarine and pressed into the cracker mixture so that the chicken breasts are fully coated. Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray, (exact size is not needed, just big enough to fit all the chicken breasts). Keep it aside. Neatly arrange the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Push the baking dish into the preheated oven and cook the chicken for about 45 to 60 minutes, until the chicken breasts are fully baked and juices run clear and no pinkish color is seen on the chicken. You can always use a thermometer to read the internal temperature and if it reads at least 175 degrees F or 75 degrees C, the chicken is considered cooked. Now your baked chicken breast is ready to be served and enjoyed.

    General Tips

    Be sure to drink at least eight glasses of water about 250 ml each. Also drink juices and herbal teas but avoid caffeinated drinks. Take some oily fish like mackerel, trout, salmon or sardines. They are rich in omega 3 fatty acids and they help in keeping your skin cell membranes healthier. You can also try avocados, flaxseed oil and walnuts to be more specific.
